Cloetta Fazer signs production planning consulting agreement with ROCE Partners

Stockholm, April 24, 2008

Cloetta Fazer has entered into a one-year consulting service agreement with ROCE Partners. The agreement covers production planning consulting including capacity planning, production planning and detailed scheduling.

The strategic goals of Cloetta Fazer are improved efficiency and the unification of operations in the production area. To achieve these objectives, Cloetta Fazer has initiated a corporation-wide project focusing on production planning. The main objectives of the project are to create common production planning processes, improve cross-functional planning, enhance knowledge sharing and define needed master data. In this case production planning includes capacity planning, production planning and detailed scheduling.

The Group common project “Planning Process” has been ready to start for a while, awaiting the completion of another Group project covering forecasting including basic operative sales planning as base.

Project Manager for the Planning project is Planning Manager Virpi Aaltonen, Oy Cloetta Fazer Confectionary and Logistics Manager Lars Jonsson, Cloetta Fazer Sverige AB. Kick off was executed on 22nd April with steering- and project members including the project Sponsor, Supply Chain Director, Jon Sundén, Cloetta Fazer AB. “We are looking forward working with ROCE Partners and it looks promising already” says Lars Jonsson
